Established in the early 1960s the Stanley Israelite Business Park is a major center for Norwich’s business base and is home to a large percentage of Norwich’s technical and light manufacturing business community. The 450 acre park is home to over thirty companies housed within 1.5 million square feet of space and also has three housing developments, a physical fitness center, the State of Connecticut National Guard Armory, and the 6,250 seat Thomas J. Dodd baseball stadium. Over 2,200 regional residents are employed by the companies located there: businesses that include Computer Sciences Corporation, a data center providing service to General Dynamics; ACLS New England, a commercial linen service, providing laundry services to both casino resorts; and Consumer’s Interstate which distributes paper products to the casinos and hospitality industry throughout the northeast. The park is furnished with underground utilities and has the capacity for additional utility loads including - electric, natural gas, city water and wastewater treatment services.
There are built spaces available from time to time as well as some room for new construction. If you have a need and would like to discuss brining your business to a park with low cost utilities, including water, natural gas and city sewer, give us a call at NCDC. We will connect you with the right people to benefit your business.
