Located in southeastern Connecticut, Norwich is a vibrant community with a beautiful harbor located at the intersection of the Thames, Shetucket and Yantic Rivers. Norwich has a growing arts community including museums, off Broadway theaters, and a number of community focused festivals and concerts.  It boasts an excellent education system with neighborhood elementary and middle schools, a privately endowed high school, technical high schools, and a community college.  It is in close proximity to the University of Connecticut, the University of New Haven, and Yale as well as satellite sites for other educational institutions.  Less than 20 miles from Long Island Sound Beaches, about 25 miles from Rhode Island beaches, 13 miles from Mystic Seaport and shoreline attractions, and a short drive from New York City and Boston, Norwich is a premiere recreational and entertainment location.
