Welcome to Norwich, Connecticut, ranked the 57th “best small city to do business in” by Forbes Magazine 2008!  Throughout our 350 year history Norwich has a proud record of being pro-business.  The staff of the City of Norwich and me, as Mayor, are each here to assist in applying proactive solutions to your business needs.  Permitting is done with the assistance of a knowledgeable and professional staff as well as business friendly boards and commissions.  We have state and local Enterprise Zone benefits providing tax abatements, we have cash for job creation activities in the heart of our city.  We are creative and interested in partnering with the business community and I encourage you to consider the future of your ventures with us here in the “Rose of New England”.
